From time to time I am asked to give presentations to garden clubs,
horticultural conferences or seminars. I have developed several
illustrated presentations using a digital projector (power point).
Topics of interest to the gardening community
include: Hosta at Work Woodland Wildflowers for Landscaping Perennials for the Shady Landscape Lady’s-slippers for the Home Garden At Home With Orchids (tropical houseplants) Ferns for Color and Texture Taking the Mystery out of Tissue Culture Houseplants in Their Native Habitat Hawaiian Gardens Additional topics of your special interests may
be requested.
A presentation usually takes about an hour. Most topics can be
expanded with more depth and detail for conferences or
seminars.
Facility requirements: I have my own power point projector and laptop
for presentation. A table to set it on in the front of the
room. Electricity at the table for projector and
computer Large screen - at least 8 x 8 feet for small
groups (up to 50) ; 10 x 10 feet for large (50 to 100) Auditoriums usually have
appropriate large screens built in. A blank wall is not
acceptable. A dark room is required. If there is enough
light to read, the room is not dark enough. A microphone for groups over 20 to 25.

Fee Schedule: $250 per presentation; additional presentations
at a seminar/conference $150 each Transportation costs : Automobile at federal
mileage reimbursement rate + toll charges Air travel at cost of coach
class fare (lowest fare jet airline used) Airport transportation +

needed Lodging expenses when
